Hi All,

  My current work is using Intermedia. (ver 8.1.7.4, they installed it before I came here to work).

And we are trying to migrate to oracle 10g. And currently, I am building a test environment.

  1. I have installed oracle 10g cd => successfully.
  2. In order to use the Intermedia module, do I need the oracle 10g companion CD??
  3. I said to myself, ok, well, let me install the oracle intermedia accelerator (10g) anyway.
  4. .runInstaller

I got this error message:
An Oracle Home with name OraDb10g_home1 already exists at location

/qt1/q00/app/oracle/product/10.1.0

Please specify another location
for OraDb10g_home2

This error, I just don't get it.
Shouldn't the oracle 10g companion CD's software (I just want to installed the oracle intermedia 's accelerator)go to the same $ORACLE_HOME subdirectory as other oracle software??

I never use the companion cd before.

Sorry to ask all these question.
I am in a terrible time-crunch to meet one "big dead line".
