Hi,

If I have a cold backup of a 9i database instance taken from Solaris 9
running on a Sun Sparc server, is it possible to restore it to Solaris
9 running on an x86 box (Dell 2850). I'm fairly sure it isn't but have
been asked to verify this.

Thanks in advance

regards
John
