The distribution from OTN (and the last one I ordered from metalink) for 9iR2 is
and then it is patched to current by using the paid-for support access through Metalink. (Surely given the importance of the system, and the effort, bugbear should be able to get access to the Metalink account to get it patched to current ...)
Why on earth would Oracle want to spend even 1 copper creating a whole new set of CDs and DVDs, tossing the old ones, and bypassing [the for-revenue service] Metalink, for something that is [almost] two versions old?
Given that any shareholder-aware corporation will just pass on [all] the costs to the customer, why on earth anyone would consider increasing the price of Oracle software is unbelievable. <g>
