Please see the log file
$ORA_CRS_HOME/css/log directory for log file

THE CRS stands for (Cluster Ready Services)

DBCA references this file during database creation and failure of the root.sh means that the CSS daemon and services will not be running which then results in the ORA-29071 error.

As you know the DBCA is useful in creating the database.
