Your question is not clear because you did not ask a question.

Your statement "if the Archive log files are in the same system as redo log files, then in case of system failure if we are able to retain data from archive log then we should be able to retain from redo log file also." is generally true.

No, shipping archived redo logs off-server does not necessarily clear them off the primary.

Consider using Data Guard. Consider using RMAN. User-managed media recovery is possible for an ARCHIVELOG mode database, but it requires some practice and some understanding. Not to say that RMAN and DG don't also require the same, but they are much more automated, and tend to require less of it.
