Fatal NI connect error 12631

Hi,

I am trying to install middle tier on machine 'avanur' and my infrastrucutre is on machine 'ps0887'. During installation "Portal Configuration Assistant" is failing with following error :

One thing to note here is

(HOST=AVANUR)(USER=ganesh_tambat) these are settings on avanur machine
and they are being used here. All the default users and settings are used as it is (orcladmin).

Has anyone faced similar problem ?
Any help much appreciated.

Both the machines are windows machines.
