Why?
The OS is only providing resources to Oracle. Oracle is the cause.
Linux is the effect.
Observing OS statics is typically a waste of time WRT Oracle tuning. Learn how to enable EVENT 10046, enable tracing at level 8 or 12, and learn how to run TKPROF on the trace files and understand TKPROF output.
