Thanks Hans for your clarification of the problem.

I am not very familiar with network and servers technologies.

Here is some additional information:

1- The two servers are used to permit data exchange. There are some applications that are exchanging data with those servers using usual connections (hadcoding the login and the password...).

2- They are NT servers.
3- No FTP is available.
4-Oracle 8i
