Well, seems like some ass screwed around with HP-UX patches and stuffed
up cc and ld that were  "Oracle friendly" before. Applied a bunch of
HP-UX patches and there cc and ld happily works again when called from
Oracle's relink.



Now to find the said ass.



Happiness is a warm, well-used and bloodied lead pipe...
