You know, when the OP said this was mission critical, I didn't even consider the possibility that his company wouldn't have a paid support contract, but thanks for the heads-up.

On the other hand, the combination of 8i and windows 2000 at least was supported, so if he has to stick with 8i, he won't easily change the OS.
