Unfortunately Adrian certain personality types which are deficient in some aspect get a perverse pleasure out of putting down those that they see as somehow lesser people than they, just because their knowledge of Oracle is less than theirs. The newsgroup SHOULD be here to help but there a couple of self-proclaimed "policemen", one of whom has just recently posted to this thread who delight in jumping on any hapless individual who dares to transgress. I've no problem with politely pointing out to people that its pretty pointless to post questions without sufficient detail. The key word is "politely". Unfortunately there are a couple who have apparently never managed to grasp the concept of that word.
