Please don't, as his concern is completely misplaced. Your original post was not spam, as it wasn't asking us to buy something. Period. Yes, there is a fine line sometimes, but your post wasn't anywhere near it. It was a technical announcement of surprising and important results obtained by non-vendor personnel in live field conditions.

Apparently, Monsieur Cadot believes that the only purpose of this newsgroup is to facilitate question-and-answer interchanges. I don't agree. Legitimate annoucements of new experimental results (i.e., not vendor claims, but actual field results) are highly welcome as far as I am concerned. This is a NEWS group, and the results you posted are definitely news.

Don't let Monsieur Cadot's fuzzy (lack of) understanding of the nature of spam bully you into suppressing legitimate news from your postings. I don't have time to monitor the marketplace group, and would be very disappointed to see such posts as yours relegated to it.
