RAC has nothing to do with the CPU or the computer. RAC has to do with the storage. If the point is just to learn RAC use the least expensive 32bit machines you can find with 1GB of RAM. The conversation will then be one about Firewire or other sharable disk as I suspect you've not enough money to buy your own NetApp or EMC.
