I doubt you are really building a database larger than 40 exabyte.
But if you are please let me know as I will come work on the project for free just for the experience. And I have 3 years of Teradata too (5100M V2R1-V2R3). ;-)

In Oracle you shouldn't have a snowflake either if you properly designed your warehouse. And by move what do you mean? The reality is going to look something like: Export the data as ASCII ... reload.

I'm still trying to figure out why you spent so much money on a box that won't give you anything you couldn't get with Oracle. Reloading that much data should take you ages. So it would seem that any restructuring is likely a luxury: Can you afford it?
