Not at all.  As it says: in 9ir2 under RHAS3, directIO
*not* supported in ext2/ext3 file system.



And yet, it seems to be supported: see my last
reply to chao.  At least, strace is showing the O_DIRECT.
Is it happening really?  Dunno anymore.  Like I said:
the whole thing with 9.2.0.6 and RHAS3 is beyond the joke...
