iptables is a Linux thing. I've got an old Pentium2/200MHz/16MB as router/firewall, running Linux (RH6 originally, now upgraded to FC1)

It an absolute minimal install (plenty of room left of the 2G hd), as per Gerhard Mourani's (http://www.openna.com/products/books.php) Securing and Optimizing Linux, The Ultimate Solution.

Apart from that, I hacked in my windows so deep, Search doesn't work anymore (uses scripting and IE, both of with I am not fond of)
