Does anyone know what the required files/registry settings are to get a Windows client to connect with ODBC? Oracle 9i.

You're supposed to install the Oracle client. But I'd like to put as little as possible on the machine and not have to use the Oracle installer.

Right now i can get it to work with all the files from my Oracle Home and the registry settings from HKLM\Software\Oracle\

I started deleting files and registry settings to see which ones break the ODBC connection, but it's time consuming and maybe someone knows the answer already. Received on Mon Apr 25 2005 - 08:32:47 CDT
