Hi.



I have a full offline backup of the databaseA. After a restore of this
to another new, clean databaseB. Can i have the new redo logs from
databaseA to be applied to databaseB?



I could see that the key differnce will be the difference in the SCN of
control files and the datafiles. And even a copy of the control files
from databaseA to databaseB wont be able to help.



In other words, there is no way for this to happen?
