I've used Free Agent for years now (and will consider purchasing it, when you don't have to open multiple instances for different newsservers) and I have no problem at all not top-posting.

Most computers have a thingy called a mouse that you can use to scroll down to place the text near to the spot where it is most relevant - an item called a keyboard can be used to do the same thing (with the arrow and page down/up keys).
