Of course not. An intelligent employee would already have figured the answer and told the boss what it is.

The response was phrased so to tell OP that he should be THINKING LIKE MANAGEMEMT - from an economic point of view, instead of a pure tekkie point of view.

And manually managing rollback segments probably does not make economic business sense. (Unless there is absolutely nothing else to do and he's worried about losing his job <g>)
