ORA-0311: end-of-file on communication channel

Hi!


I am using Oracle 9i and when I try to call a procedure via odbc, the
connection goes through, but at SQLExecute(statement), it takes some
seconds and returns with the error-message "ORA-03113: end-of-file on
communication channel".


Is there any remedy to this?


I do use the odbc that came with my oracle-server installation (ver:
9.00.11.00)
