SQL plan different in dedicated vs. shared connection

Is this possible? I would think it would be possible with different session settings (hash_area_size, sort_area_size, etc), but this (I think) can only happen with work_area_policy set to auto, on this system it was set to manual. Anything else I am missing? The statistics on tables did not change between test.

Thanks.
