Don't worry about figuring the problem out as by the time it reoccurs and you become aware of it you will probably forget where you saved the scripts you want to run to see what is going on. 8-D

Seriously, if the problem does seem to occur you might want to open an iTAR. I would include a system state dump taken while the problem was occurring. This might give support something to work with since you have made no mention of any alert log error messages or trace files related to the problem. I would guess that including v$transaction and the v$session entry would also be wise.
