Sorry I may have lost part of my understanding of this thread. Alan seems to recommend fixing problems possibly related to SHUTDOWN ABORT with another SHUTDOWN ABORT? hmmmm
My original recommendation is to limit the usage of SHUTDOWN ABORT to when it is absolutely needed. Yes agreed it often does not cause major problems but it is a tool that should be reserved for when it is needed not coded on a routine basis. Received on Wed Feb 02 2005 - 09:24:17 CST
