I need to create a oracle 9i RAC in 2 IBM machine(with windows 2k
server). Those machine are in a public network. According the
requirement i has created a private network within that machines using
subnet(It use the public network but in the separate subnet. Both
machine have 2 IP address in the different subnet). In the extended
partition of one machine harddisk(It is the only one disk in that
machine) i has created 2 logical drive(without formatting and assigning
drive letter). Then i executed the cluster setup wizard in the Oracle
CFS product CD. But it give this error message.

Questions
1.Can i use extended partition logical drives as shared disks?
2.How can i share the drives when the drive is in RAW and haven`t any
drive letter
3.If not possible can i use second harddisk(totally extended) as shared
disk
