Why? What is the compelling piece of functionality you currently lack, or that 10g offers?

Then don't muck around with a stable solution you already have (assuming you already have one). 9i remains a supported platform for at least another 3 years or so.

And if a few share anecdotes that "It's all OK", that will persuade you to make a fundamental change to your production system??! The basis on which you choose to upgrade should be: (a) obtain the new software (b) install it onto a test machine (c) stress-test it as realistically as possible. It should NOT be (d) ask a bunch of people I've never met and don't know whether I can trust what their "feelings" are!
