Hi Debashish
As a beginner dont go for books which are a little advanced. OCP
exam books would be the best choice at the moment even though you dont
intend to appear for OCP exams. Studying the OCP books would give you
an overall idea of Oracle which includes the various components,
architectures, variety of apps/tools used by DBAs and host of other
things.
And when you feel comfortable in these concepts spend a little more
money on books authored by Thomas Kyte. Beleive me! you would then be
able to move ahead with pace. Wish you luck!
