I hope this is an appropriate place to ask this question...

We are running Enterprise Manager 10g Grid Control. We use a firewall as a proxy which requires authentication. Those of you who have worked with GC 10g or iAS 10g probably are aware that the platform doesn't yet support passing authentication credentials to a proxy server. This makes the "Metalink" integration in GC less than useful.

Does anyone know if there is some sort of light, resident proxy server for Solaris that itself can pass authentication credentials to another proxy server? If we could setup a gateway, it would make life much easier. Received on Mon Nov 22 2004 - 20:44:59 CST
