material at whole :) It talks about locking strategy, performance
issues, clustering and replication.
Those guys who wrote the article they did some serious piece of work.

I read the part on RAC ... and there is not enough scotch on my shelf to make me believe that any serious attempt was made to research the subject.
Even the most basic concept of the difference between TAF and Cold Failover escapes the authors. And 30 seconds for a RAC failover with 9i? If I can't get my cluster to failover in less than 2 seconds I'll each my shoes: Both of them: After walking through a cow pasture: On a hot day.
