You shouldn't need any special configuration.  If you can connect
scott/tiger_at_localtolive from the same session where you're trying to
run the query, or use SQL*Plus and get into the server2 instance from
the server1 machine (), then the link should work.



Have you tried MetaLink DocID 1020463.6?
