There is no hsodbc.exe under linux.
You can find a binary called hsodbc in $ORACLE_HOME/bin and the library hsodbc.o in $ORACLE_HOME/hs/lib

On 10g for linux, as far as I know, HS is supported. I can use it to connect to a mysql and a sqlserver with unixODBC.
