I think it is an "early beta." Let them know http://groups-beta.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=9072 . The support seems quite responsive, although the actual fixes... well, I'm sure they use professional release versioning software.

#&^*@%&! group owner/moderator!" - Yes, I actually had to type it. 
Then after they replied all apologetic-like, I sent an explanation
that I was ROTFL while typing it because of my previous similar SA and
DBA sigs.
