Change Word Size

Just checking, because the 9i Migration Manual is not 100% clear (at least to me):

I need to upgrade 8.1.7.4 32 bit on AIX 5.1 to 9.2.0.5 64 bit on AIX 5.2 ML2.

I can just install 9i 64 bit (when running either 5.1 or 5.2 in 64 bit) , run the migration, and then change the word size?

This is opposed to migrating to 8.1.7.4 64 bit, change the word size and then upgrade to 9.2.0.5.

Correct?
