Everytime Status Pending in EM

Hi!

I have a little Problem with the Enterprise Manager on Oracle10g. On the Home Tab in the EM the database is shown everytime on the Status: Status Pending. And i have a button to startup or shutdown the database. The Database is actually open, and i can access it with no problems all other tabs like Performance/Administartion and Maintenance work as normal. Is there something that i have forgotten to configure ?
