Don't know your exact environment, so I'm just guessing. Other issues could include auth methods (eg: Single Sign On, Passport, LDAP, whatever)

You also don't reproduce the exact message, so I can't tell exactly where/why it fails, such as: job successfully logs in to windows but fails when logging in to Oracle. Any log files?

  1. Try the Windows users that is the Oracle owner, if that happens to be different than the Server Administrator.
  2. Try creating a new Windows user that has 'log in as batch' capability, and then verify that the user has Oracle access by running sqlplus or exp in cmd mode. Use that user's credentials.
  3. Open the preferred credentials windows, and set the defaults there.
  4. Check your local OUG for someone kind enough to help while lookig over you shoulder.
