Well, after having searched high and low for the most of this year I was pretty sure that if the whole thing was not an Oracle issue, else someone would have mentioned it, wouldn't they?
And since Windows 2000 is affected too, I'd classified this as something similar to the PIV bug in 8i. But in the last 2 an' half years of monitoring this NG nothing popped up. After all, Oracle on MS Cluster probably ain't as common as we thought.
So I felt a real jerk when I wrote the first post of this thread. I've
recoverd since then :-)
