Hi,All
I have oracle 817i running in w2k.And we used rman to backup the database termly.
We wrote a rman incremental script to backup the database with skip readonly and offline options.
What I want to ask is that if I need backup the datafile/tablespace manually(use rman, write another script)just after the datafile/tablespace turn offline or readonly. Is rman smart enough to do these(find out which datafile or tablespace state are changed, then backup them) in a convenient way.
  Any suggestions?

Thanks.
