"There are some situations where the most cost effective solution is a cluster, but as soon as you [go that route] you have to do some serious work to fit your workflow onto a cluster; extra costs creep in for the cluster-based solution. Most customers do not have the very homogenous workload the functions best on a cluster... We have yet to meet a customer in business or research that [wouldn't find it] possible to accomodate
