Originally, 9.2.0.4 was supposed to be the terminal patchset for 9iR2. But there were too many bugs and 10g is still too new in many people's eyes. So 9.2.0.5 was born.

I do know that there will be a 9.2.0.6 in the future! I was at a class on Oracle Spatial 10g taught by the Oracle Spatial development team. They indicated many times during that class that there were a few changes to Oracle Spatial in 9.2.0.5 and that they were also making changes to Oracle Spatial for 9.2.0.6. So someone in Oracle Corp is developing for 9.2.0.6.

HTH,
Brian
