I sorta assumed you were using the old version as you stated (OAS) for some
reason other than just static html. If not using OAS for some OAS specific
feature (like the PlSql cartridge), then I would just use the free Apache
web server.
Doing this from year old memory which could definitely be off a little (so double check this), but IF you are ONLY using the PlSql cartridge OAS specific feature, then instead of Oracle9iAS, you might just be able to use the http server (Apache I think) that comes with the database server install.
