I tried several times unsuccessfully to download 10g for linux x86, from a windows machine, Internet Explorer 6 + GetRight. Every time I was stuck at the "download 10g" button, except one time when I GetRight picked up the download but stopped shortly afterwards with an authentication problem.
Then, suddenly, I had this wonderful idea of trying with Mozilla on a Linux machine and there you go, no problem at all, download speed 150Kbytes/sec with my ADSL 1200.
And I did it at 10PM CET, so, no excuses for too americans.

I don't know if there is any logic behind it, but it's worth trying if you have access to a linux box, in the end it's the place where it'll end up with.

Bye,
