On the other hand if one just inserts the CD on windows and accepts the defaults for any options that you wish to include then the install is pretty idiot proof, I must admit I don't like offering to put the binaries on the drive with the most free space (that is where my datafiles are going thank you) but that is a minor quibble. -- Niall Litchfield Oracle DBA Audit Commission UK
