Re: join between two tables of 2 differents databases mounted on 2 differents servers

Databases are running under Oracle 9i.

I'm not sure to know how dblinks work. I create a link indicating the user and password for the remote database and the service (alias of the remote database). Then I tried to test the link but Oracle said that it was inactive.
