So true... When I had to move from upstate NY to Houston three years ago I figured I should get my ocp certification. After going through those exams I was quite pleased with myself for a while. Until I started interviewing people for the job I was leaving... Some of them were ocps but didn't have a clue... After that I knew it's pretty useless as an indicator of how good a dba you are. Now I see it as a nice way for myself to find out my weak areas and get myself up to speed. Nothing more.
Now that whole "master" thing might be interesting. Does anybody have experience with that?
