Going from memory, I think you need to downgrade your Java. It seems to me you need JDK 1.3.1

Suggest you check on http://www.puschitz.com for details on installing on RH 7.3. I also recommend reading Howard's excellent paper on installing on RH 9 (at http://www.dizwell.com). While not immediately relevant to your install, the surrounding discussion will help you understand why yu have a problem.
