many 3rd party applications write code specifically for the RBO. They wrote
these applications several years ago and did not spend the money to test
them in the CBO. You might also invalidate your support contract with the
3rd party vendor.
Changing over to CBO could cause problems if you dont have direct access to
the queries. This is fairly common with low cost 3rd party applications.
