This is a technical ng open to all. Not the usual Usenet games slugfest newsgroup. We all are people who live off this stuff. None of us here posts with fake proper names although many use a fake e-mail to avoid spam. I don't see what the need is here for "handles".

As for silly questions, I'm as guilty of that as anyone here. It will be a dark day for c.d.o.s. when anyone using their own name feels constrained from asking ANY technical question here. Even if the obvious reply will be a flame.

It's part of posting in a public forum. Not a problem at all.
