Is it really any sillier than installing OEM on a client? I agree with Sybrand, but I can see wanting to give a form to operators or managers with a PC.

Martin:

Listen to Sybrand. Also google this group about RMAN, and in particular pay attention to the need to give good training and practice to whomever runs RMAN.
