Sometimes with stuff like this they are publishing the log of a support call which got upgraded to bug status. Most likely, the scripts they are referring to are only available to internal staff. Perhaps if you open a tar they might make something available to you. But more likely, they would tell you to upgrade to 8.1.7 before offering any help at all - after nearly four years, what are the chances they can even find the scripts?
