Hi Jay,

Nothing will happen. The password function will only be called when a user tries to change their password with the "password" command in SQL*Plus or using the OCIPasswordChange function in OCI, there is also an oo4o function i believe. All of the other profile settings that you will change in respect to passwords will start to tick from the time you assign them.
